I am currently the Principal of Monument Mountain Regional High School in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
I was Co-Principal of Harwood Union Middle and High School in Duxbury, Vermont from 2012-2017. Harwood Union is located between two unique geographic and cultural Vermont regions: the ‘Valley’ which stretches from the base of Mount Ellen in the Green Mountains to the lowlands of the Mad and Winooski Rivers, and ‘Waterbury’ which stretches from the base of Mount Hunger of the Worcester Range to the towns of Waterbury and Duxbury a gateway between the State capital, Montpelier and Vermont’s largest city, Burlington along the shore of Lake Champlain.
Harwood is a traditional, rural Vermont school, and like many in the region, it is undergoing a redesign; that is to maintain the features characteristic of a signature school while incorporating research-based systems and structures necessary to prepare our students for success in our 21st Century global society. The Harwood learning organization understands the magnitude of this task, and is collectively committed to the work.
